Q.  How often should I perform maintenance on my Marvin Window weather strip?

A.  We suggest an annual window and door maintenance inspection at least once per year. Most people do this in Springtime along with other visual inpections around the home. Here is a simple checklist:

1. Weatherstrip is the resilient material designed to act as a barrier in the space between the sash and frame to reduce air and water infiltration.  Never allow solvent-containing materials to come into contact with weatherstrip. Solvents cause weatherstrip to lose its flexible qualities.
