My painter got paint all over my window weather strip - will that affect performance?

Q.  My painter got paint all over my window weather strip - will that affect performance? 

A.  Never allow solvent-containing materials or paint to come into contact with your windows weatherstrip or seals. This normally causes weatherstrip to lose its flexible and sealing qualities.
