A. Normally , yes .. the glass code identifies where and when the product was produced. The glass code may be found in one or two two  different places depending on when your window or door was produced.

A. Sometimes, air infiltration is actually due to lack of timely replacement of window and door weather strip, door bottom seals etc. If you have determined that your window is door is actually leaking, the next step is to determine the location and cause of the leak and replace the weqatherstrip.

Q. How often should I replace my Marvin casement window weather strip components?

A. When it comes to energy loss caused by air leaks through windows & doors [infiltration] old windows and leaky doors are serious offenders - weatherstrips and gaskets are designed to be compressed when in service and break down over time due to ultraviolet light, heat, cold and usage factors.
