Q: Is there gas between the panes of my Insulated Glass?

Argon Insulated Glass Two Pane

A: The space between panes of Insulated Glass is sometimes, but not always, filled with gas such as Argon, Xenon, and Krypton. In some cases, the manufacturer will use a combination of two gasses. However, years of research have proven that Argon is the best gas insulator, due to Argon being denser than the atmosphere, providing more thermal efficiency than having just air between the panes.
